As we eagerly await (and continue to hassle Motorola) for the Nyxboard Hybrid. We are starting to build a list of review sites that we can send the remote to and get an unbiased opinion, and perhaps help you make a decision on if its right for you.

We have a few sites we’ve either contacted or being contacted by. But our list is certainly not exhaustive. Do you have a site you visit regularly that you would like to see review our remote? If so, get in touch with us at contact@pulse-eight.com or via our forums. We also have a contact form on our website all of them are actively monitored.

Suggest a site to us and we will enter you in to a prize draw for a free Nyxboard Hybrid. This competition will end at the end of July 2011.

  6. I suggest me, outleradam http://forum.xbmc.org/member.php?u=54283 . I will do a full teardown, documentation, and writeup on the unit. I am familiar with many types of chips and reprogramming/repurposing electronic devices. I have several tools at my disposal and I would like to see what I can do with the Nyxboard.

  7. http://xbmc.nu a swedish fansite, great guy who runs the site..

How about a first party review by Pulse-Eight themselves?

In my opinion very little is known about this remote and thus I have been waiting to find out more before placing my order. One standout feature of this remote (besides the XBMC functionaliy) is its IR capabilities, but little is known about the programibility. How easy is it to program? Can all the buttons be programmed? etc.

Most review sites will probably answer these questions, but maybe Pulse-Eight can enlighten us in the mean time. Perhaps even publish the user manual, although that may be too much to ask.

    • We can review it, of course we are going to give it high marks, we helped design it. However I would be happier when review sites get their hands on the remotes to give an unbiased opinion.

Motorola asked us not to release the pdf manual until stock started to ship, now it has I will upload it and link it to the product page tomorrow
