USB – CEC Adapter on a Beagleboard

We love it when our customers do something completely unexpected with our products, today we found a great link from Boris Houndleroy who has compiled libCEC on his beagleboard running XBMC allowing him to use our USB – CEC Adapter, we haven’t found out if he needed to make any tweaks to the code but if possible we will get instructions and an updated library hosted so anyone can do this.

i love that it demos pirated tv shows

    • I would like to just point out that our adapter has no ability to assist in distribution or playback of copyright material

Would be nice if Pulse-Eight provides ARM binaries in your repository 😉

    Win32 x86
    Win64 x86_64
    Mac OS X/Darwin universal
    Linux x86
    Linux x86_64
    Linux ARMv5
    Linux ARMv6
    Linux ARMv7

So that anyone can get all CPU architecture from upstream libCEC 🙂

Same as Spotify does for their libSpotify

  3. Well, we need the platforms to compile them on, that said, libSpotify is closed source (afaik) and ours is open, so there is nothing stopping you doing it yourself.

  4. Very great post. I simply stumbled upon your

your weblog posts. In any case I will be subscribing to your feed and
I hope you write once more very soon!
